Meals
Choosing a meal plan will provide you with locally-sourced, healthy, and delicious meals throughout the weekend. Stay tuned for what the meal plans will entail for 2023. This year a meal plan will include Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch.
When you purchase a meal plan you will be asked to select a Vegetarian/Vegan or Omnivorous option. This will give us greater accuracy in ordering ingredients and preparing food quantities. Within either meal plan option there will be gluten, dairy, nut, refined sugar, and soy-free dishes for those with dietary sensitivities.
We are excited to include many Michigan-inspired dishes with locally-sourced and foraged ingredients. Some of our food purveyors from previous years include: Tantre Farms, Ypsilanti Food Co-op, Black Locust Gardens, Fluffy Bottom Farms, Rocky Oak Farms, Black Oak Pork, and Coffee Express Roasting Company.
There is hot tea and coffee available throughout the Faire for all attendees. Tea is available all day, while coffee will be offered during Breakfast and through Lunch.
We have a snack table in the Marketplace to purchase things like granola, popcorn, and energy bars, but you may want to bring a few snacks if you like to munch between meal times.
You can cook at your campsite if you bring your own stove, but there are no cooking facilities otherwise; the main kitchen is for our chef's use only. There are some places about 10 minutes away in the town of Chelsea that you can purchase prepared food and there are also a couple of grocery stores in the area.
